The FLO Card is designed to be a tamper-proof identity credential. It is biometrically secured and uses encryption technology, which ensures that the information stored on it can only be accessed or used by the card's proper owner. FLO Corporation has a mechanism to enable customers to replace lost or stolen cards in a timely manner. Customers in need of a new card should call the Customer Service Hotline to begin the replacement process.
No, not at this time. While FLO Corporation architecture has the capability to support credit and debit transactions, the initial FLO Card will be a secure identity credential only. FLO Corporation is conducting research on the market demand for an integrated identity credential and financial instrument, and may introduce such a product if there is a demand for it.
